The Venue
On Saturday October 8, 2011, Chris and Amanda were married in a small ceremony at New York's Spotted Pig. The restaurant holds special meaning for the couple, who first ate there with good friends late one magical night in October of 2009.
The Ceremony
After exhausting the connections of friends and family, then scouring the internet, there was still no officiant in sight a mere three days before the wedding. Then miraculously, through the magic of Twitter, Amanda got a phone call while she and Chris were waiting in line to apply for the marriage license. She and Chris met Gabriel the next day at Whole Foods near NYU and knew they'd found the perfect guy to officiate their union.
